Pregnancy After Loss

Pregnancy is normally associated with high hopes and expectations for the future. However for those of us who have lost a child at any stage of pregnancy or after birth, finding out you’re pregnant again can bring a myriad of emotions and can be a very daunting and anxious time. Pregnancy after loss unfortunately feels nothing like pregnancy before our innocence was taken away. Decisions that once seemed simple become complicated and milestones you once reached with ease now feel like you’re climbing mountains.

Many mums experience a rollercoaster of mixed emotions; still grieving the child you lost while hoping that you’ll become a parent once again and bring this baby home to raise and nurture.

We know how hard this time can be and we’d like to be there to support you every step of the way on your pregnancy journey, helping you to choose hope over fear.

Our Hopes…

Hope

That all those going through the journey of pregnancy after loss find support from people who understand what an anxious and scary time it can be. We hope that by sharing your hopes and fears with others that you can find comfort and support to help you to cope.

Support Meetings

We hold regular Pregnancy After Loss support meetings where you will meet other bereaved mums and dads who are on similar journeys and who can identify with the rollercoaster of emotions that you may be feeling.  Sometimes it’s good just to know that you are not alone, but even more than that, to know that what you are feeling is ‘normal’ given what you’ve been through.

Please email info@alittlelifetime.ie if you would like to attend.

Please note our PAL meetings will be held via Zoom until further notice.
