Support ALLF with €2 text donations

You can now support A Little Lifetime Foundation with €2 text donations from your mobile phone. All you have to do is text the word TEDDY to 50300. That's it! nothing else! The money is deducted from your phone credit or added to your bill. Working with the Like Charity service, we have direct connectivity to all the major networks in the Republic of Ireland.

100% of text cost goes to A Little Lifetime Foundation across most network providers. Some providers apply VAT which means that a minimum of €1.63 will go to A Little Lifetime Foundation. Service Provider: LIKECHARITY. Helpline:  076 6805278.

A Little Lifetime Foundation Parent Support
It is natural to want to talk about your baby. You probably think about him or her all the time and continuously relive the circumstances of his or her birth and death. Your grief is very intense and you experience so many different emotions at the same time that you may feel unable to cope. These feelings are normal and it helps to express them.

It can be particularly helpful to talk to someone else who has had a baby who has died. You can do so by contacting A Little Lifetime Support Team. All the members of the Support Team are trained and are parents who themselves have had a baby who died. They can be reached from any location in the country by leaving a message on the A Little Lifetime Support phone line.

Parents Support Meetings
We also organise Parent Support Meetings. These are informal meetings where parents can talk to each other, facilitated by a trained member of the Support Team. Many parents find that they feel less isolated and alone after meeting other parents who are going through similar feelings of grief.

Sometimes parents say that they would be unable to speak at a meeting and we always say that no one should feel under pressure to share their experience. Sometimes just listening to other parents sharing their stories can help us to identify thoughts and feelings we may be having ourselves.

ALLF PAL - Pregnancy After Loss

 

Being pregnant again following the loss of a child, can be a very daunting and anxious time. Many mums experience a rollercoaster of mixed emotions; still grieving the child you lost while hoping that you’ll become a parent once again.

We know how hard this time can be and we’d like to be there to support you every step of the way on your pregnancy journey, helping you to choose hope over fear.

 

OUR HOPES…
That all those going through the journey of pregnancy after loss find support from people who understand what an anxious and scary time it can be. We hope that by sharing your hopes and fears with others, that you can fi nd comfort and support to help you to cope. You can fi nd support at our meetings, through our Facebook group or on the ALLF forum.

As you may or may not know, we are trying really hard to raise much needed funds of behalf of A Little Lifetime Foundation

We are running a Comedy Fundraiser in the Laughter Lounge, Dublin in order to help raise these funds on Thursday 12th November 2015
